Volleyball

A couple of weeks ago, I begged a Korean co-worker of mine to take me to my first volleyball game. We were able to catch the last game of the Hyundai SkyWalkers in a nearby town. So, we headed out late Saturday morning (my Korean stopped to get us massive amounts of pretzels from Tom n' Toms, hehe :D ) to the city of Cheonan.

Our first stop was the Independence Hall of Korea. This was a fantastic sight. It had a incredible monument, an enormous statue, countless Korean flags, and seven separate museum halls. Sadly, we only had time for one hall, but it was worth it.

So many flags! There were more on the other side too...

Proclamation of Korean Independence!
A large wax statue collection of old men... it was really creepy :)

Our first game! Yay!
Let's Go SkyWalkers!
Cheerleaders for every freaking sport...

Some video action!

Afterwards, we were surprised! We got to get signatures from the team! They gave us free posters... we waited in line for maybe 20 minutes... and va-la! A free souvenir for me too keep when I leave Korea.

My cutie on his little banner!
Yay #8! You were my favorite!
My poster! I tried to get as many signatures as possible, with of course getting #8's first :D
