There have been lots of changes with my life here in Korea ever since I came back from the States. It has been really tough at times and really happy at others. I know that the Lord gives and takes away. He is good all the time and I am always brought to that realization at the end each day. So, here are some things that have happened lately :D
Graduation
Graduation day! Graduation day! Graduation day is finally here!
As much as I looked forward to a change of classes and a fresh beginning with some new children, my heart was heavy. If you know me well, you know that I don't do well with change... and lately, there has been a lot of it. So, it was all bittersweet. Plus, for graduation, I had to be an M.C. Me, microphones, and audiences don't go well together... Luckily, the parents didn't really know what I was saying, so I got off easy. For the Korean M.C... not so lucky :D But T. Jay did a great job!

We did it! |
My sweetest co-teacher, Jessie! I love her! |
Beautiful flowers I got from Jun's mom! |
Good-byes.
I had to say good-byes to several co-workers, friends, and children last month. I won't lie... I cried quite a bit! First up: T. Warren.
He was the last of the teachers that welcomed me into Korea. Such a great guy. So kind, encouraging, and loving. He is hiking Everest now! What a hoss! |
Moose Class, I started with a lot of these children back in Iguana Class, then we moved to Camel, and finally we ended up in Moose. They were my first class to teach in Korea! |
Melissa! A member of the three: Nyeasha, Mel, and I. We've had a lot of memories together and I am still so sad that she left. Great girl with a great heart! |
Catherine, one of our WONDERFUL desk teachers! A really hard worker that got things DONE! |
Night out with Warren, Catherine, Hannah, Daniel, and Green! A very fun evening. |
Children
One day, little Miss Ariel walks into SLP with a righteous black eye. Apparently, she fell out of her card? The week after, another one of my children comes in with a black eye too! She got hit by a swing in a pet shop? I am always entertained with new stories. |
Momma said I got a picture in the mail from my sponsor child! He has gotten so big! Siva is such a sweet looking boy! |
Food!
Going out with co-workers? Be careful, you might drink too much beer and soju, then order eel and raw beef! Mmm... >:I
Eel... |
Raw beef... |
A much more appealing lunch with Justin, his sister, and Kyutae!
Variety cutlet platter, soooo good! |

New Giraffe Class!
Please, please... take a close look at this picture... This is my everyday... Haha... I really love Alice holding an invisible bird(?) in front of me and Justin yelling "Avada Kedavra" at the camera next to me. |
Bear Farm!
This is round two for me at the Bear Farm... it was a gray day... definitely not as pretty or happy as last year, but it was still a pretty fun field trip.
One the bus :D |
Justin |
Little baby bears... |
The cage was smelly and fairly depressing... |
As you can see, the chickens and rabbits didn't smell much better! |
Love the faces in this picture... |
Lunch time with Alice and Alex |
And the rest of Giraffe class... I hope James isn't picking his nose... |
