Rachel's Wedding & Buddha's Birthday

Wedding
This marks my third wedding in Korea. I'm quite amazed, because before I came to Korea... I never thought I'd make that many friends, particularly Korean friends. I'm so glad I've gotten to encounter such beautiful times with really wonderful  people! Congratulations Kyle and Rachel! :D

At the alter...
What it looked like on the big screen :)
Celebrity couple right here... good looking people!
Bowing to her parents.
Trying jellyfish...
Then immediately saying, "I don't like it..." :D
Friends!
Fancy photo.
Late night bingsoo after party!

Buddha's Birthday
Last year, I went to Seoul Jazz Festival as well as a wedding in Busan for Buddha's Birthday. This year, I got to spend more personal time in Seoul and Dongtan with friends. One of the days, Teacher Green took Daniel and I to a nearby temple and tomb to commemorate the holiday. It was beautiful weather and we got to see some great sites!

Making burnt sugar candy... it was really good actually. All it consisted of was sugar and baking powder. Cooked in a little cup (well done) and then pressed into shapes.
Guarding the temple...

Lanterns! So many!

Selfie time.

We drove over to the kings tomb (I had been here once before for a field trip).

So peaceful...
The second burial ground.
We finished off a great evening with pizza and beer, while watching Running Man and a Korean serial killer movie.

The next day, I had the privilege of visiting my dear friend Ashley's apartment in Ichon. I finally got to meet the adorableness that is TEDDY! Take a look-see!

She and her husband were so sweet and treated me with some Pizza Hut! This is the pizza of a million pepperonis.
Then there was more...
I'm blessed with such a great friendship with this girl Leizel! We enjoyed a good time in the park a couple of weeks ago :)

The little ones...
On our way to the arboretum...
T. Ann loves field trips... especially with Giraffe Class ;)
Bella's rooting for the home team! Go 'stros!
I made my kids write invitations to their friends to go to a party. I really like little Ariel's... titled: Come to my Sleep Over day... "It will be very fun come to my sleep over day please come I will be good to you but I will not angry So come to my sleep over." She is a cutie...

Easter
Justin invited me to come eat dinner with a few of his hometown friends at their apartments. It was such a pleasant time. Good company, great good, and amazing view!

We ate on the balcony because it was such a beautiful day. Han River right next to us.
Yum!
