Busan

Last weekend, me and my girls took a trip down to good ole Busan. Busan is the second largest city in South Korea and it's located next to the Eastern Sea. We made an early morning commute using the "slow" train and it look us a good 5 hours to get there. Once we arrived, we went searching for our "bed and breakfast". It was run by the cutest little lady in a nice apartment next to a subway station. Our hostess was a so sweet and fed us coma inducing amounts of food. Thanks to her, I've now fallen in love with Korean pears!

Once we settled in, we went out and did a little exploring. First, we went to the Haedong Yongungsan Temple. Just going to this temple was worth the entire trip. The scenery was stunning!

Great Goddess of Mercy

 

After the temple visit, we went to the Gwangalli Beach. The weather felt amazing and everyone was just strolling and shopping and enjoying life, just like we were. The Diamond bridge and buildings were all lit up. There was even a barge blowing off fireworks. It was a beautiful evening with great friends!

The next morning, we work up to an amazing Korean breakfast. Oh my, too much goodness to handle! Most of the produce was grown on her farm!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Awesome, right? We had a quick weekend, but it was very relaxing and good fun :)
