This weekend, Nyeasha and I took a trip into Seoul to visit the Van Gogh exhibit. It was an awesome display and it was fantastic to see his works up close. The only downfall was that everyone else in Seoul decided they wanted to come see the exhibit with us (it was very busy!) Anyways, you weren't allowed to take pictures while in the exhibit, but here are some from the trip.
^ Some children's work up on display... not too shabby! ^
That's all...
Here are some other pictures for funnsies...
THURSDAY....
...was White Day. It's celebrated in Asian countries on March 14th, one month after Valentine's day. Over here, Valentines day is typically observed by women presenting candy and gifts to men. On White Day, the tables are turned and men give women gifts. I did get candy from my little kiddos, but my favorite present was this little parcel given to me by Ariel (mentioned in the last post)...
^ She wrapped it herself :) so cute ^
^ Inside were these two little "snowmen"... I love that she used tape to attach everything, haha... ^
FRIDAY...
I was finally taken to the clinic by my boss. After three days of NO voice, pink eye in both of my eyes, and horrible coughing fits... ( it was a rough week). Here is a pic of my meds... In Korea, you take pre-packaged pills (pictured below) many times a day... but for only a few days.
SUNDAY FUNDAY
Ny and I went into Seoul to meet Justin and his co-worker for breakfast and church. We ate at a restaurant in Gangman called Butterfingers. It was amazing. We shared massive plates of delicious breakfast items and I ordered BLUEBERRY pancakes! Soooo good. (Blueberries are really expensive here, so I never eat them, but this morning I had too!)
Why did you make my skin look so pasty white?
