Sometimes, I love SLP field trips! Especially ones on beautiful fall days in gorgeous locations. Recently, we went on a trip to a grave site of a king from the Joseon Dynasty. The area had tons of different hiking paths and open places great for resting. After we saw the "tomb", we had a treasure hunt! The kids had to find two pieces of paper hidden among the leaves. Each piece of paper had a picture of a toy on it. Once they found two, they could claim their toys. After that, we had snack time. Then the teachers enjoyed running around in the trees playing chase with the kids. It was a good friend trip. Only two things went "wrong". First, one of my kiddos threw up in the bus on the way to the grounds. Second, I had to use my first "squatting" toilet. I was extremely proud of myself after that experience! :) Haha...
And to finish all up! Here is an adorable video of the kids finding their papers. I love the way Eric comes running up to me and Alex comes to show me his papers. Ugh... so cute. I watch this on bad days to remind myself how great I actually have it...
