Childrens Musical

Time has been zooming by! In less than three days, my parents will be in Korea... I am ridiculously excited! I thought I would catch up before I drop off the radar while they are here :D

Last Wednesday, we took our kindergarteners to a children's musical in Suwon. This kind of field trip is particularly nice because we aren't having to walk all over the place (not that walking is bad, watching 12 little kids in the meanwhile is the painful part). Consolidated entertainment...love it! The play was vverrrryyy Korean. The last two years, it was the three little pigs. I don't even know what the name of this play was. It was about a little girl who has two birds following her around as she goes on a quest (ends up being a dream) to find a magical peach to make her sick father feel better. One was pelican, he was the good bird that tried to help the girl. One was a raven, he was bad and tried to make things difficult for her. The play must have had some rather scary moments because not only did some of our kids cry, but many children from other schools did too. Anywho, I couldn't understand what they were saying, so I just took advantage of very comfy chairs and sitting in the air conditioning.

Student Work
You go to USA on the weekends!? Sounds pretty awesome!

Something that is solid: Dad's head. Love it!

Scientific brains flowed into America... You know what? I'll take it.

My favorite Kindergartener... please Lord, let me have a daughter like Grace!

ME
I tried a new hair place in Seoul this weekend called: Hair and Joy. I really loved it. They took such good care of me and did exactly what I wanted and more! As they were "prepping" me, I couldn't help but be reminded of Miley Cyrus.
Ta-da! Bangs and new color.
CHURCH

I am so thankful for the church I have found in Seoul. Without it, I feel like I would not have the joyful spirit that I have found living here. The Lord is so gracious that he would lead me to a church like this. I joined the welcoming team and have started to make such good friends! My dear friend Ny joined me last Sunday :) "Welcome to OEM. How may I help you?"
